The Rhode Island Public Health Institute seeks a Medical Director for Open Door Health, a community-based clinic in Providence, Rhode Island. The clinic focuses specifically on sexual health and primary care for members of the LGBTQ+ community. The Physician will report to the RIPHI Chief Medical Officer and will serve as the supervisor for the clinical team, including nurses and nurse practitioners. The Physician will be responsible for providing culturally congruent primary and sexual health care, screening patients for HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases, and providing other medical care including COVID-19 screening.

The Rhode Island Public Health Institute seeks an Internist or Family Practice Physician for Open Door Health, our community-based clinic in Providence, Rhode Island. Open Door Health is committed to serving Rhode Island’s diverse community. We offer primary care, gender affirming care, sexual health care, family planning services, and operate a walk-in clinic for sexually transmitted infections. The clinic focuses on sexual health and primary care for members of the LGBTQ+ community as well as Latinx patients.
The Physician will report to the Chief Medical Officer at the Clinic and work closely with the clinical team.
